Gujarat Metro Recruitment 2022: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has openings for the post of Additional General Manager (Environment & Social), Additional General Manager (Safety), Joint General Manager (Civil), Deputy General Manager (Civil-Safety), Deputy General Manager (MMI), Deputy General Manager (Social), Manager (Architect), Joint General Manager - Civil/Track (O&M), Manager - Civil/Track (O&M), Assistant Manager (Civil/Track (O&M), Assistant Section Engineer - Civil/Track (O&M), Junior Engineer - Civil/Track (O&M) and Maintainer - Civil/Track (O&M). Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Details

GMRC invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates as per the following posts and appointments will be only on “Contract” with minimum 3 years to 5 years, on standard terms & conditions of the Organization:

1. Position: Additional General Manager (Environment & Social) on contract/deputation/ post retirement/ superannuation basis

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 100000 - 260000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be B.E./ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or Environment Engineering and M.E./M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

b. Candidate should have minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 15 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government/PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be working in IDA pay scale of Rs. 90000-240000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 2,50,000/- per month (approximately).

d. Candidate Should have good understanding and knowledge of Indian environmental legislation, regulatory framework and compliances, Environment Clearances/ NOCs from Central and State regulatory authorities. Candidate should have worked on Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) for various sectors, such infrastructure projects (like Ports, Roads, Airports and Landfills etc.),

e. MRTS, Light rail transit, high speed etc. Candidate should have experience in handling projects funded by multilateral and bilateral funding agencies such as WB, AfD, KfW, ADB, JICA and well-versed health, safety and Environmental monitoring and assessment guidelines

 

1. Position: Additional General Manager (Safety) on contract/deputation/ post retirement/ superannuation basis

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 100000 - 260000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. Recognized University/Institute with a Diploma/P.G. Diploma in Construction/Industrial Safety from an Institute recognized by State / Central Govt. or other Statutory authorities.

b. Candidate should have minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 15 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be presently working in IDA payscale of ₹ 90000- 240000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 2,50,000/- per month (approximately).

d. Candidate should have experience in handling projects funded by multilateral and bilateral funding agencies such as WB, AfD, KfW, ADB, JICA and well-versed Health, Safety and Environmental monitoring and assessment guidelines.

 

1. Position: Joint General Manager (Civil) on contract/deputation/ post retirement/ superannuation basis

2. No of Post: 03

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 90000 - 240000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute.

b. Applicants should have minimum 16 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 14 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be presently working in IDA payscale of ₹ 80000- 220000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 2,00,000/- per month (approximately). 4

d. Candidate should have experience in the field of Planning/Design/Execution/Contractual Matters of Viaducts/ Tunnels/ Underground Structures/ Depots/ Tracks/ Railways / Highways/ Bridges or large Civil Engineering Projects similar nature

 

1. Position: Deputy General Manager (Civil-Safety) on contract/deputation basis

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale:70000 - 200000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. Recognized University/Institute with a Diploma/P.G. Diploma in Construction/Industrial Safety from an Institute recognized by State /Central Govt. or other Statutory authority.

b. Applicants should have minimum 10 years of relevant post qualification experience of Executive level reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 8 years of relevant Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be working in IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000-180000 & above pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (approximately).

d. Candidate should have experience in handling projects funded by multilateral and bilateral funding agencies such as WB, AfD, KfW, ADB, JICA and well-versed Health, Safety and Environmental monitoring and assessment guidelines.

 

1. Position: Deputy General Manager (MMI) on contract/deputation basis

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 70000 - 200000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be Bachelor in Planning from a Govt. Recognized University/Institute & Masters in Transport Planning or related field from a Govt. Recognized University/Institute.

b. Applicants should have minimum 10 years of relevant Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 8 years of relevant post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be working in IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000-180000 & above pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (approximately).

d. Candidate should have experience in the field of Multi Modal Integration works in Transport Sector.

 

1. Position: Deputy General Manager (Social) on contract/deputation basis

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 70000 - 200000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

a. Candidate must be Masters in Sociology or Social Works or relevant field from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute.

b. Candidate should have minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 08 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

c. Candidate should be presently working in IDA pay scale of ₹ 60000-180000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (approximately).

 

1. Position: Maintainer - Civil/Track (O&M) on Contract basis

2. No of Post: 02

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 20000 - 60000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: 

Candidate must be qualified from a Govt. recognized ITI or equivalent Government Certification. Candidate should have 2 years of experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks. Preference will be given to Officials from Railways/ Metro Corporation having sufficient experience of Civil Structure Maintenance.

 

1. Position: Junior Engineer - Civil/Track (O&M) on Contract basis

2. No of Post: 02

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 33000 – 100000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience: Candidate must be Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have minimum 3 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks.

 

1. Position: Assistant Section Engineer - Civil/Track (O&M) on Contract basis

2. No of Post: 02

3. Pay/Revised IDA Pay Scale: 35000 - 110000

4. Education Qualification & Essential experience:Candidate must be Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of Civil Structures like Viaduct/ Tunnel/ Metro Stations/ Depots/ Ballasted and Ballast less Tracks.

5. No. GMRC/HR/RECT/CIVIL/05‐2022/03

 

Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment Conditions

1. Candidates who have appeared for interviews conducted by GMRC for the above said posts on an earlier occasion need not send their applications again unless there is a change in the eligibility criteria.

2. Prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirements and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called forinterview.

3. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right for interview /selection. 

4. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.

Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment General Conditions

1. The number of posts indicated above may vary based on further assessment of requirement. 

2. Apart from the pay, other benefits will also be paid as per the Company Policy. Age & Experience period may be relaxed for exceptional candidates having relevant experience in Metro Rail Project. 

3. Eligible Officials / Staff working in GMRC who have completed minimum two years of service at present designation & grade may apply through proper channel.

4. Candidates after selection are likely to be posted at Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar/ Surat or any other projects of GMRC, anywhere in Gujarat. The % of HRA may vary according to the place of posting as per Government guidelines.

5. Reservations Rules shall be followed as per regulations of Government of Gujarat.

6. Exceptionally qualified and higher rank holders can be considered for suitable position & compensation package at the discretion of Competent Authority.

7. Candidates cannot apply for more than one post.

8. Candidates from private organization should submit copy of their CTC breakup along with Form – 16 at the time of online application. For candidates from Private organization, Form -16 shall be considered for arriving the current CTC
